It fully surrounds the propellers to help improve flight safety, especially for indoor flying or areas with many obstacles. According to the official specs, the guard weighs 42 g per side, has a 97 mm radius, and measures 411.6 × 335 × 115 mm after installation. DJI states that the aircraft firmware must be updated to v01.00.0100 or later before installation. Once installed, DJI Mini 4 Pro no longer supports obstacle avoidance, so extra caution is required during flight. The Intelligent Flight Battery Plus should not be used with this accessory.
